BREXIT –  WHAT HAPPENED TO PATRIOTISM ?                           

 

PATRIOTISM is the love of ones country. While people may not like all the things that happen in their name or within the country they still have a love for their country. A majority of the people in the United Kingdom are mostly patriotic, honest, hard working, God fearing, tax paying citizens who over the last 40 years have seen their lives and that of their families, communities and country change. They expect the politicians that they elected in 2017, on promises of honouring BREXIT, to carry out their duty and respect the wishes of the electorate. It is a pity that the majority of MPs, who stood in a constituency, made promises and then used a party system, or the good will of many volunteers, to get elected to represent these people, appear to be disloyal and unpatriotic, showing a total lack of love for our country and a lack of consideration for the wishes of their constituents.

 

During a rich history many people, both at home and abroad, have served to defend our freedom and the way of life that we appreciate. They have been prepared, patriotically, to put their lives on the line and some have been injured, suffered life changing injuries or made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of sovereign and country. They answer the ultimate question, “ Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country” and we owe them our full support to make sure that the sacrifices of the past were not in vein

 

What right do the “FANATICAL REMAINER REBELS” have to change the outcome of the “PEOPLES VOTE”  Throughout history, convention has been that people who do not vote have to accept the decision of the majority as do those who lost the vote.

 

The people own the country and while politicians may come and go, banks and businesses will rise and fall, the country and its people will remain and therefore the people deserve to be listened to as they will have to live with the consequences of what happens now

.

They expect to see the United Kingdom “REGAIN” its Independence, its Sovereignty and its place on the World Stage.

BREXIT - THE BOTTOM LINE.

BREXIT –   The BOTTOM LINE.                              

 

The BOTTOM LINE for the ORDINARY PEOPLE of the UK, who voted to LEAVE the European Union, the EU, in a clean break with no strings attached, is that we LEAVE on the 29^th. March 2019. They DO NOT want to see the UK completely loose its identity by being absorbed into an undemocratic Franco-German United States of Europe. They DO want to see the UK regain its Independence, its Sovereignty and its place on the World Stage. They expect the politicians that they elected in 2017, on promises of honouring BREXIT, to carry out their duty and respect the wishes of the electorate.

 

These are mostly patriotic, honest, hard working, God fearing, tax paying citizens who over the last 40 years have seen their lives and that of their families, communities and country change. They appreciate that leaving with No Deal is not CRASHING OUT, as many of the Fanatical Remain Rebels would have us believe through their constant Scaremongering and Project Fear, as much work has been going on behind the scenes to enable a Managed No Deal to happen on WTO terms

In a People’s Vote, a referendum held on the 26th. June 2016, out of the 46 million people eligible to vote, only 16.1 million voted for the UK to REMAIN in the EU, which is only 35 per cent. Unfortunately it would appear that the majority of the MPs, thought to be around 60 per cent, want the UK to REMAIN in the EU and they are placing their personal agendas ahead of the wishes of their constituents. Now that THE PEOPLE have had their say, by voting to LEAVE the EU, they expect their MPs to respect that decision.

 

It needs to be made clear to Career Politicians that they were elected to represent the Constituency and that they should be responsible to the people who elected them. It is not acceptable to use the Party Machine, and the good will of the volunteers, to get themselves elected so that they can put their CV first, the party second and if there is any time left over the country third.

 

Many people either have a loved one, or know of somebody, who has served and been injured, suffered life changing injuries or made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can benefit from the advantages of FREEDOM, and it would be unforgivable for us to ignore their courage, efforts and sacrifices.

 

THE BOTTOM LINE FOR THE UK IS INDEPENDENCE FROM THE EU.

The UK spends £20 billion a month with the EU, making it one of the largest customers that the EU has.

 

During the discussions and negotiations  over the last two and a half years I have heard very little reference to this fact. The way that the EU has treated the UK over the last period, especially since the people voted to leave the EU, is not the way that any organization, or business, would normally treat one of its largest customers, especially when they spend nearly one quarter of a trillion pounds each year. You would expect them to be making the right noises and using a positive approach to try to retain, and possibly even expand, that business in the future after the UK has left the EU, especially as UK politicians appear to have an obsession with spending UK taxpayers money abroad.

 

 Instead the bureaucrats appear to be more interested in how much money they can get out of the UK to avoid pending budget problems and being seen to be hard and difficult to discourage to the other 27 member countries from wanting to consider any similar type of action. There was never going to be a chance of us negotiating a meaningful agreement with the EU. Being seen to have given the UK any sort of favorable deal and then the UK go on to be successful is the very last thing that the bureaucrats in Brussel want to happen and therefore it is in their interests to be as difficult as possible and place as many obstacles as possible in the way. The main problem which the UK politicians seem to have missed, or choose to ignore, is that Michel Barnier, the EU’s main negotiator, was given the outcome of the negotiations and told to fill in the gaps to justify it and he appears to have done exactly that..

 

There was no reference to having a deal that would benefit Big Business, Big Banks and Financial Institutions, the Rich and Powerful, Fat Cats, Celebrities, those who make a profit directly from our membership and pressure groups who act through Lobbyists. We voted to Leave the EU and we want our Sovereignty, an end to free movement and full control of our borders, our Fishing Rights, our right to Trade with who we choose, our right to our own Laws, control of our money and most importantly our Independence With NO Strings Attached.

 

We are not leaving Europe, we are leaving the European Union, the EU . If it hadn’t been for the UK and its friends and allies from around the world there wouldn’t be a FREE EUROPE. Too many people spilt their blood and lost their lives to release countries from being controlled and run by Germany for us to turn our back on it.

 

 We want to remain an active part of Europe but not be controlled by the Brussels.

BREXIT - AN EXCITING PROSPECT AHEAD.

BREXIT – AN EXCITING PROSPECT AHEAD.

I see the Brexit leave vote as an exciting and challenging prospect for the UK. After over 40 years of membership of the EU the UK has been left in a serious financial state supported by out of control borrowing.

If we vote to leave the EU we will be free to invest the £10 billion saved from our membership, the £14 billion from the Foreign Aid budget and money saved from the trade deficit to form an Investment fund, the Lions Den, to support through loans or overdraft guarantee schemes, business plans and possible management buyout plans securing the future and development of our manufacturing sector. This would reduce our imports, provide skilled jobs, reduce our benefits costs and increase our tax income.

We would continue to meet our foreign aid commitments but instead of supplying money we would supply manufactured goods and backup services. If you give a man a fish you feed him and his family for a day but if you give him the right equipment and teach him how to us it he feeds his family for the rest of time. Most of the countries that we want to help don’t want long term charity that they become dependant on, they actually want help to get back on their feet and have a pride in being able to feed their own families. From reports that I have seen, harrowing scenes of scorched earth, people trying to scratch together enough to feed themselves and their families and animals dying, the one thing that seems to link them all together is the lack of clean water. We can manufacture desalination plants, irrigation pumps, filtration equipment, pipe work, tractors, implements, disease resistant seed that will grow in harsh environments and the technology to make it all work. Whole communities can be independent producing enough food for their own needs and some over to sell or trade to get other items that they need for a quality of life. Once the model is up and working it can be rolled out to many other communities. We have helped to feed the world in the past and this would be a chance to help the world feed itself.

Does anybody really care about what happens to the UK after the referendum vote on Thursday 23^rd. June 2016 ?

I care passionately about what happens to the UK and what is going to happen to it after the referendum vote has been decided. Nobody wants to listen to ordinary people, they seem prepared to be taken in by the politicians and their personal agendas. I voted to stay in the Common Market at the last referendum and after finding out that we were actually lied to by the politicians I will not be making the same mistake again. I fear that if we vote to remain we will be absorbed as a federal state of a Franco-German EU, the National Debt will continue to increase to a point where it can not be supported anymore and we have to ask for a bailout.

On the other hand, if we vote to leave we can concentrate our efforts and resources into supporting and increasing our manufacturing base to initially cover our own consumption and use, allowing us to reduce our imports, reduce our benefits bill and increase our tax income for essential services. If EU countries want to continue to trade with us then they will have to be prepared to offer reciprocal arrangements.

Nigel Farage cares about what happens to the UK after the referendum vote. His whole existence is based around the fact that the referendum is happening at all with his setting up of UKIP, the United Kingdom Independence Party, the clue is in the name, and getting members elected as MEPs, Members of the European Parliament, to keep us informed of what is actually happening and to fight for our ever decreasing corner. As a working man I am more likely to believe somebody, who operates at the coal face, who is talking from practical experiences and who is prepared to talk himself and his colleagues out of a well paid job. I find it hard to believe how politically motivated members of the Vote Leave campaign have been allowed to treat him in the way that they have rather than using his inside knowledge of the EU to their advantage.

We hear a lot about the economic argument from government departments and independent bodies for the UK remaining a member of the EU.

The reality of the matter is that as a member of the EU the UK’s NATIONAL DEBT is £1.7tn., that is £1,700,000,000,000, over £27,000 for every man, woman and child and over £47,000 for every tax-payer, and it is currently increasing at the rate of £5,170 per second.

This debt has been accumulated by successive governments over the last 20 years, while a member of the EU, with the most significant increase being over the last 10 years, in 2005 it was £0.5tn. and at the end of 2015 it was £1.6tn.

 

The country is paying £48bn. per. year, that is approx 8% of what the government collects in taxes, just to service that debt, paying interest and charges, and that is set to increase to £50bn. per year by the year 2020. No wonder that the bankers and financiers do very nicely out of the UK while it is in this position.

 

The reality is that there is no way that the UK is going to be able to reduce the National Debt, and the amounts that we pay to service it, as a member of the EU. It will continue to increase, as we continue to run a government deficit and a trade deficit, and reach a point where we are unable to service the debt and need a bail out or face bankruptcy.

 

When the Government runs up huge debts we are the ones that have to shoulder the burden. We need to reduce their spending on imports and increase our manufacturing for our own consumption to give ourselves a chance.

BREXIT – LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE EU.

 

The main thing that will loose the “out campaign” a unanimous vote in the referendum is the people’s fear of what to expect in “ life outside of the EU ”. Unfortunately it is a fact that “frightened people always vote for the bully” and we know who the bully is in this matter despite the “in campaign” claiming that fear will play no part in their campaign. The people need to be given both sides of the argument in clear language that ordinary people can understand to allow them to make an independent decision on what they think is best for the UK as a whole and them and their family and friends in particular.

The “out campaign” no matter how it is structured or who its leaders are have to be seen to be singing off the same hymn sheet. It is the message that matters more than the messenger and ordinary people are not going to support a cause just because they recognise the person giving it. A number of people are keen to tell us what life could be like if we vote to stay in the EU but nobody seems as keen to tell us what “life outside of the EU” will be like for the ordinary people. We hear generalisations about law making, the judicial system, control of our borders, our place in the world etc. but very little about jobs, earnings, immigration, housing, trade deficits, imports etc. and how living standards will be affected for the ordinary people.

There are rumours abound that if the UK votes to leave that the EU could demand another referendum as they have done in other countries until they secured the outcome that they wanted, that there would have to be a meeting of the other 27 countries to decide the conditions of the UK leaving and that it could take up to five years to complete and that the EU has threatened to make the UK’s life as difficult as it possibly can, using them as an example to deter any other country from considering taking any form of similar action.

BREXIT - TIME FOR A LINE IN THE SAND.

BREXIT – TIME FOR A LINE IN THE SAND.

 

Following all the recent messing about of the UK by the EU it is time that our Prime Minister David Cameron drew a line in the sand. It is time for him to face up to reality and to stop visiting his counterparts around the EU with a begging bowl as we all know that the only person’s vote that matters is that of Angler Merkel, as was seen in the vote for Jean-Claude Junker as President of the European Commission, when she decides how to vote the majority, especially those in the eurozone, will follow her example. He should now issue the EU with a list, including the free movement and immigration controls, of the minimum that the UK will accept to consider remaining a member of the EU. He then needs to put on a white shirt, a red, white and blue striped tie, a union flag lapel badge and get on an aeroplane with the union flag on the tail and go and visit some of our friends around the world to show the people of Great Britain that he is fighting for them and not just for himself.

 

He can then stand tall knowing, that while he would prefer the UK to remain a member of what he considers to be a reformed EU and offering him far better future job prospects, that there is a future for the UK outside of the EU and that he is the person to lead us into that future should the people choose that option. At the moment he appears to be spending too much of his time and effort on what appears to be his desired outcome which could mean that an out vote wouldn’t make him the right person to lead the country into a new and exciting future.

 

We are not a federal state of the EU and I feel that if the people decide to remain a member of the EU that is exactly what we will become and our independence, based on a rich history, will be lost for ever.
