BREXIT –  WHAT HAPPENED TO PATRIOTISM ?                           

 

PATRIOTISM is the love of ones country. While people may not like all the things that happen in their name or within the country they still have a love for their country. A majority of the people in the United Kingdom are mostly patriotic, honest, hard working, God fearing, tax paying citizens who over the last 40 years have seen their lives and that of their families, communities and country change. They expect the politicians that they elected in 2017, on promises of honouring BREXIT, to carry out their duty and respect the wishes of the electorate. It is a pity that the majority of MPs, who stood in a constituency, made promises and then used a party system, or the good will of many volunteers, to get elected to represent these people, appear to be disloyal and unpatriotic, showing a total lack of love for our country and a lack of consideration for the wishes of their constituents.

 

During a rich history many people, both at home and abroad, have served to defend our freedom and the way of life that we appreciate. They have been prepared, patriotically, to put their lives on the line and some have been injured, suffered life changing injuries or made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of sovereign and country. They answer the ultimate question, “ Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country” and we owe them our full support to make sure that the sacrifices of the past were not in vein

 

What right do the “FANATICAL REMAINER REBELS” have to change the outcome of the “PEOPLES VOTE”  Throughout history, convention has been that people who do not vote have to accept the decision of the majority as do those who lost the vote.

 

The people own the country and while politicians may come and go, banks and businesses will rise and fall, the country and its people will remain and therefore the people deserve to be listened to as they will have to live with the consequences of what happens now

.

They expect to see the United Kingdom “REGAIN” its Independence, its Sovereignty and its place on the World Stage.

BREXIT - THE BOTTOM LINE.

BREXIT –   The BOTTOM LINE.                              

 

The BOTTOM LINE for the ORDINARY PEOPLE of the UK, who voted to LEAVE the European Union, the EU, in a clean break with no strings attached, is that we LEAVE on the 29^th. March 2019. They DO NOT want to see the UK completely loose its identity by being absorbed into an undemocratic Franco-German United States of Europe. They DO want to see the UK regain its Independence, its Sovereignty and its place on the World Stage. They expect the politicians that they elected in 2017, on promises of honouring BREXIT, to carry out their duty and respect the wishes of the electorate.

 

These are mostly patriotic, honest, hard working, God fearing, tax paying citizens who over the last 40 years have seen their lives and that of their families, communities and country change. They appreciate that leaving with No Deal is not CRASHING OUT, as many of the Fanatical Remain Rebels would have us believe through their constant Scaremongering and Project Fear, as much work has been going on behind the scenes to enable a Managed No Deal to happen on WTO terms

In a People’s Vote, a referendum held on the 26th. June 2016, out of the 46 million people eligible to vote, only 16.1 million voted for the UK to REMAIN in the EU, which is only 35 per cent. Unfortunately it would appear that the majority of the MPs, thought to be around 60 per cent, want the UK to REMAIN in the EU and they are placing their personal agendas ahead of the wishes of their constituents. Now that THE PEOPLE have had their say, by voting to LEAVE the EU, they expect their MPs to respect that decision.

 

It needs to be made clear to Career Politicians that they were elected to represent the Constituency and that they should be responsible to the people who elected them. It is not acceptable to use the Party Machine, and the good will of the volunteers, to get themselves elected so that they can put their CV first, the party second and if there is any time left over the country third.

 

Many people either have a loved one, or know of somebody, who has served and been injured, suffered life changing injuries or made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can benefit from the advantages of FREEDOM, and it would be unforgivable for us to ignore their courage, efforts and sacrifices.

The UK Government gives away the first £48 billion of the money that it raises in taxes, approximately 8 per cent of the total, to rich people, bankers, investors and the worst part is that 28 per cent of that amount is given to foreign investors. Think what life would be like if the Government had an extra £48 billion to put into the economy to spend on the NHS, the Police Force, the Armed Forces, Education, Cash strapped Councils and Local Authorities etc.

 

So why do the Government have to give away so much of the money that they have raised in taxes before they have money to spend on the things that are important to the tax payers who have contributed to that amount. After 40 years as a member of the EU, one thing that we have been left with is a National Debt of £1.8 trillion, that is £1,800 billion. When the Conservatives took over from Labour, and there was that famous remark that there was no money left, not only had they spent all the money raised through taxation but it appears that they had borrowed £1 trillion, £1,000 billion, and spent all of that as well. While Gordon Brown appeared to managing our economy he was doing it on mostly borrowed money and we all know that eventually a day of reckoning will come around. Unfortunately due to certain things that had been put in place the Conservative Government, which always claims to be the Government of Low Taxation, didn’t appear to get control of the situation, despite introducing austerity measure and quantitive easing, still carried on borrowing and now that National Debt is at £1.8 trillion.

 

If we were to remain in the EU, with a National Debt of £1.8 trillion, nearly as big as our annual GDP figure, approximately 90 per cent which is higher than the 60 per cent limit set by the EU, and growing by the minute, which currently costs the UK £48 billion pre year in interest cost, 28 percent of which goes abroad to foreign investors, a trade deficit of £7 billion per month with the EU and the Government budget being in deficit and needing to be supported by further borrowing it would only be a matter of time before the UK exhausted its credibility and needed a BAIL-OUT from the EU. At that moment the UK would be finished on the world stage with no individual identity and absorbed as just a state of the EU. Any experience of austerity so far would be nothing compared to what would be imposed if the EU was given the total control of our affairs and the Euro was forced upon us, but imagine Germany’s approach if they were given the chance of dominating the UK

.

The whole situation appears to be a Lack of Management  by Governments.

BREXIT - The PEOPLE voted to Leave the EU.

BREXIT –   The PEOPLE voted to LEAVE the EU.                              

 

The People of the UK voted to LEAVE the European Union, the EU, in a People’s Vote, a referendum held on the 26^th. June 2016. These are mostly patriotic, honest, hard working, tax paying citizens who over the last 50 years have seen their lives, and that of their families, communities and country change while having no say in what was happening. Now they have had their say by voting to LEAVE the EU, and they expect their MPs to respect that decision.

 

THE PEOPLE voted to leave the EU with no deal if that ended up being the only option left on the table. They appreciate that leaving with No Deal is not crashing out, as many of the Fanatical Remain Rebels would have us believe, as much work has been going on behind the scenes to enable a Managed No Deal to happen on WTO terms.  

THE PEOPLE were encouraged that following  a vote by 498 politicians Article 50 was triggered. It gave notice of the countries intention to leave and gave 2 years to negotiate an exit deal. When the UK triggered Article 50 the People thought that once in motion it could not be stopped or extended except by unanimous agreement. While it was expected that the period would be used to make agreements, there is no legal requirement to do so, and at the end of the period the country will leave with or without a deal. They also expected companies and civil servants to use the time to put in place what would be needed to ensure an organised departure. The default position is that we leave on the 29^th. March 2019, any Agreements that could be made that would make our LEAVING easier or smoother would be appreciated but are not necessary. It would appear that we were lied to about that and instead of everybody working for the best deal for the UK, the Fanatical Remainer Rebels, the Pro-EU activists, are using political procedures to frustrate and alter that.

THE PEOPLE know that we are not leaving Europe. If it hadn’t been for the UK and its friends and allies from around the world there wouldn’t be a FREE EUROPE. Too many people spilt their blood and made the ultimate sacrifice to release countries from being controlled and run by Germany for us to turn our back on it. They know that we are leaving the European Union, the EU, and especially the direct control from Brusells, so that we do not become a Province in a German lead Superstate, the United States of Europe.

BREXIT - TIME TO END 50 YEARS OF LIES.

BREXIT –   TIME TO END  50  YEARS OF  LIES.                              

 

Since we started the last 50 years of closer association with our European neighbours across the channel we have been involved in one continuous flow of lies. The only truth is that we should never have joined the Common Market, which turned into the European Union, in the first place.

 

It all started in the early nineteen seventies when Ted Heath, the then Prime Minister, lied to Parliament to get them to agree to the UK joining the Common Market, which it did on 1^st. January 1973.

There was a certain amount of unrest in the country over the way that the UK had been taken into the Common Market and in 1975, Harold Wilson, the then Prime Minister, agreed to hold a Referendum on 5^th. June with the simple question to REMAIN or to LEAVE. The result was 67 per cent in favour of REMAIN. Note that there were no protest about the result as the REMAIN campaigners, the then

Pro-European Activists, had got the result that they wanted.

Unfortunately at the time the electorate were not made aware of what had happened and that by voting REMAIN they were agreeing to the UK participating in a process that would change from a Trading Agreement into a Political involvement in a Federal States of Europe with Germany at its head. If they had been made aware of this intention there is a good chance that virtually nobody would have voted to REMAIN. There were a few people who tried to question where this might end up but they were shut down by claims that it was “Purely a Trading Agreement”.

The lies continued as political change moved on and we were told that the UK would remain a Sovereign Nation and benefit from being part of a large, stable and successful International association. There was never any mention of the fact that the UK being involved gave the EU a certain amount of credibility around the world. John Major, the then Prime Minister, actually lied to us when he signed the Maastrict Treaty, which he told us was a “tidying up exercise”, but actually transferred OUR SOVERERGNTY from London to Brussels.

Despite the commitment made to the electorate by David Cameron, the then Prime Minister, after having announced the Referendum that “ This is your decision. The Government will implement what you decide “, it is rumoured that he also made a promise to certain politicians and the EU that there was nothing to fear from giving the Ordinary People this vote. There were many lies told in the run up to the referendum in a campaign of Project Fear and Scaremongering which all ended up being unfounded.

 

On the 23^rd. June 2016 the people of the UK voted in a Referendum, a “Peoples Vote”, with a simple choice to REMAIN or to LEAVE, and they voted by a reasonable majority to LEAVE the EU in a clean break with NO ties, a “NO DEAL BREXIT”, to take back OUR Sovereignty, our national INDEPENDENCE and become an Global trading nation once again.

While over 400 parliamentarians voted to allow the Referendum to go ahead, they totally miscalculated the mood in the country towards the EU, and there is no way that they expected the result that they got. There is no way that certain members of the political elite, Pro-EU Activists, with personal interests in the EU, and career politicians with promises of lucrative career prospects, were going to accept anything other than a REMAIN vote.

There is no way that the British People want to be part of a European Union Superstate. They owe it to the people who made the ultimate sacrifice to secure and maintain our freedom, to break away from what successive Governments have got us into. We joined a trading agreement in good faith, perhaps in retrospect we were a bit naïve to expect something that sounded good to actually be so, but things were very different then, and we are still keen to involved in a Trading Agreement. We are not leaving Europe, we consider ourselves to be an integral part having fought for its freedom as well as our own, we are leaving the EU, and especially the direct control fro Brusells, so that we do not become a Province in a German lead Superstate, the United States of Europe. The EU already has its own flag, anthem, parliament, currency, embassies, executive laws and civil service, and now it is planning, following the signing of an agreement between Germany and France,, to create its own army. History would never forgive us if we voluntarily allowed the British Armed Forces to be controlled by Germany. There was life before the EU and Britain managed to enter unchartered areas and in most cases profit from the experience.

The Ordinary People have been heard but there is no way that they are being listened to, and yet again they are being lied to. The British people do not like being lied to but this time they are annoyed and frustrated because they are facing a revolt by the political elite, against their wishes, and they appear, despite having won the vote, to have NO CONTROL over how it is being handled.

 

MPs are meant to be the servants of the people, not the masters.

Brexit - Which part of LEAVE don't they understand ?

DON’T THEY UNDERSTAND ?

On the 23^rd. June 2016 the people of the UK voted in a Referendum, a “Peoples Vote”, to LEAVE the EU in a clean break with NO ties, a “NO DEAL BREXIT”, to take back OUR Sovereignty, our national INDEPENDENCE and become an International trading nation once again.

 

 

Of the 46.5 million people who were eligible to vote on that day only 16.1 million voted to REMAIN which represents 35 per cent of the electorate. Convention has it that those who didn’t vote, or those who chose not to vote for some reason, have to accept the decision of the majority, as should the group who lost the vote.

Unfortunately a group of Fanatical Remainers, Pro-EU Activists, well organised and financed, who are part of the political elite, consider that they know what is better for the UK than the “Ordinary People”, and they are prepared to do anything to try to disrupt or reverse the outcome of that vote. They would have us believe that Britain would remain a Sovereign Nation as part of a stable, successful international association. John Major actually lied to us when he signed the Maastrict Treaty, which he told us was a “tidying up exercise”, but actually transferred OUR SOVERERGNTY from London to Brussels. If we REMAIN in the EU we will become a Province in a German lead Superstate. They have now moved on to various moves in Parliament where 63 per cent of the Commons is composed of Remainers. A revolt by the political elite against the Ordinary People, who despite winning the vote, appear to have no control over how it is being handled.

Remainers following their own agendas include Phillip Hammond, MP for Runnymede and Weybridge, current Chancellor, had 20,259 vote Remain which was 45 7 percent on the day and 34.8 percent of the constituents. In his acceptance speech on Election Day he said “I will do my best to represent the interests of my constituents”. Anna Soubry, Conservative MP for Broxtowe, had 29,672 vote Remain which was 45.5 percent on the day but only 35.5 percent of the constituents, She couldn’t even convince her own constituents to support her point of view and apparently a number are so unhappy that she is not representing them or their views that they are trying to get her deselected. Nick Boles, Conservative MP for Grantham and Stamford, had a 61 per cent LEAVE vote. Members in the Constituency have written in “outrage” about what he is saying and want him deselected. Yvette Cooper, Labour MP for Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford, had a 70 per cent LEAVE vote, which makes her attempt to “STOP” a “NO DEAL BREXT” even more unbelievable.

BREXIT - The Arrogance of Fanatical Remain Rebel Politicians.

FANATICAL REMAIN REBEL POLITICIANS.

 

The European Union Referendum Act 2015 was introduced by Phillip Hammond, the then Foreign Secretary, and on the 28^th. May 2015 it eas passed by 544 votes for and 53 votes against it. On the 14^th. Decenber 2015 it was passed by the House of Lords and on 17^th. December 2015 it got Royal Assent.

David Cameron, the Prime Minister at the time, after extensive negotiations with the EU and member countries thought that he had come up with a package that would be acceptable to the UK people. He arranged for a leaflet to be produced and delivered to every household in the UK. The leaflet titled “ Why The Government Believes That Voting To Remain In the European Union Is The Best Decision For The UK “, stated that:

 “ This is your decision. The Government will implement what you decide “.

The referendum, which was a true People’s Vote, was held on 23^rd. June 2016 and was meant to be a non political free vote. Out of the 46,501,241 people eligible to vote only 16,141,241 voted to Remain in the EU, that was 48 per cent of the 72 per cent turnout and is only 34.7 percent of the electorate. Even in Scotland, where Nicola Sturgen claimed an outright majority, the 1,661,191 who voted Remain only represent 41.7 percent of the electorate. All that Remainers had to do was to get more than 50 percent of the electorate to vote REMAIN and BREXIT would have been dead and the last two and a half years would have been entirely different, but they didn’t, and they couldn’t even win the vote on the day

 

More than 400 MPs were at odds with their constituencies by voting Remain in an area that voted Leave but most of them said that they would respect the result and support the BREXIT process. In the political areas 270 voted Leave, 67.7 per cent, while only 129 voted Remain, 32.3 per cent. and 74 per cent of Conservative constituencies voted Leave and 64 per cent of Labour constituencies also vote Leave.   

Almost all MPs should be BREXITEERS as virtually NONE of them has the support of the majority of their constituents to pursue  a Remain Agenda. A majority of the country wants an Independent UK with no EU string while it would appear that a majority of their elected MPs don’t want them to have it.

We want to remain an active part of Europe but not be controlled by the Brussels.

While the UK spends £20 billion a month with the EU, making it one of the largest customers that the EU has, there is no way that the 27 countries are going to allow France to cause major hold ups at the Port of Calais meaning that their produce rots and they don’t get paid. The REALITY is that it is all down to MONEY.

The Port of Calais authorities have recently announced that there will not be any major hold ups as they had been preparing for a no deal Brexit. No more trucks than at present would be stopped from crossing the channel and the main areas of concern would be veterinary and sanitary controls. Their main area of real concern was the fact that the UK Government were proposing to move trade away from Calais, investigating other possible routes to the continent, and the impact that it would have on them through a loss of revenue.

This would remove the concern about imports into the UK  and should remove the scaremongering regarding food and medical shortages. The area that could cause some concern is the fact that “European law says that all food and livestock exports from a third country to the EU have to be inspected 100 per cent and checked at a designated border inspection post”. As the UK is only 60 per cent self sufficient in food if this caused a problem then I am sure that we could absorb those exports into our system, which would reduce our dependency on imports, or redirect the sale of the products to the new market opportunities made available through the WTO.

There doesn’t appear to have been any consideration of the practical aspects of the UK leaving the EU, instead the bureaucrats appear to be more interested in how much money they can get out of the UK to avoid pending budget problems and being seen to be hard and difficult to discourage to the other 27 member countries from wanting to consider any similar type of action. There was never going to be a chance of us negotiating a meaningful agreement with the EU, or support from other countries while most of them are net beneficiaries and not likely to question or vote against Brussels and since Brexit Germany and France have received larger payments.

 

In a recent European Commission Study, which was reported in the Sunday Express 30^th. December 2018, “Brussels only trusted by 40 % of EU citizens”, it showed that only 31% of UK citizens trusted Brussels. This is directly in line with the the result of the referendum where only 35% of the UK electorate voted to remain in the EU.

 

 We want to remain an active part of Europe but not be controlled by the Brussels.

The UK spends £20 billion a month with the EU, making it one of the largest customers that the EU has.

 

During the discussions and negotiations  over the last two and a half years I have heard very little reference to this fact. The way that the EU has treated the UK over the last period, especially since the people voted to leave the EU, is not the way that any organization, or business, would normally treat one of its largest customers, especially when they spend nearly one quarter of a trillion pounds each year. You would expect them to be making the right noises and using a positive approach to try to retain, and possibly even expand, that business in the future after the UK has left the EU, especially as UK politicians appear to have an obsession with spending UK taxpayers money abroad.

 

 Instead the bureaucrats appear to be more interested in how much money they can get out of the UK to avoid pending budget problems and being seen to be hard and difficult to discourage to the other 27 member countries from wanting to consider any similar type of action. There was never going to be a chance of us negotiating a meaningful agreement with the EU. Being seen to have given the UK any sort of favorable deal and then the UK go on to be successful is the very last thing that the bureaucrats in Brussel want to happen and therefore it is in their interests to be as difficult as possible and place as many obstacles as possible in the way. The main problem which the UK politicians seem to have missed, or choose to ignore, is that Michel Barnier, the EU’s main negotiator, was given the outcome of the negotiations and told to fill in the gaps to justify it and he appears to have done exactly that..

 

There was no reference to having a deal that would benefit Big Business, Big Banks and Financial Institutions, the Rich and Powerful, Fat Cats, Celebrities, those who make a profit directly from our membership and pressure groups who act through Lobbyists. We voted to Leave the EU and we want our Sovereignty, an end to free movement and full control of our borders, our Fishing Rights, our right to Trade with who we choose, our right to our own Laws, control of our money and most importantly our Independence With NO Strings Attached.

Fanatical REMAINER Rebels out to STOP “ NO DEAL ”

 

I do not understand how the political elite, who voted for a referendum to be held, and in the two largest election manifestos promised to honour the outcome, and now because they didn’t like the outcome are trying to stop it. In the “ People’s Vote “ held on 26^th. June 2016 out of the 46.5 million people eligible to vote only 16.1 million voted Remain, that is 35percent not the 50percent plus they think that they were entitled to. Part of the problem is that we have too many career politician who have only known life under EU rule and have very little experience of life outside of the Westminster bubble, and who unfortunately put their CV first, the party second and then if there is any spare time, the electorate and possibly even the country.

 

In reality, virtually none of the MPs has a working majority from their constituency to support a remain agenda. If you look at the number of people who voted remain in any individual constituency and compare it to the number of constituent eligible to vote you will find that the percentage is below 50 in almost every case. Even the Prime Minister doesn’t have a majority. Theresa May, MP for Maidenhead, had 44,086 votes Remain which was 53.9 percent on the day but only 43 percent of the constituents. Anna Soubry, MP for Broxtowe, had 29,672 vote Remain which was 45.5 percent on the day but only 35.5 percent of the constituents, She couldn’t even convince her own constituents to support her point of view and apparently a number are so unhappy that she is not representing them or their views that they are trying to get her deselected. There are many examples and hopefully at the next Election the electorate will duly reward them for their lack of loyalty and the disruption that they have been causing.

 

Nigel Farage MEP, Architect of Brexit and Co. Vice Chair of “Leave Means Leave” recently warned that the group of Fanatical Remain Rebels was well organized and financed and determined to stop “ NO DEAL BREXIT ” at any cost and using any tactic, no matter how divisive, and that the country must be prepared to resist these attacks on our democracy.

December 2018, “Brussels only trusted by 40 % of EU citizens”, it showed that only 31% of UK citizens trusted Brussels. This is directly in line with the result of the referendum where only 35% of the UK electorate voted to remain in the EU.

 

The last gravy train leaves the UK on the 29^th. March 2019, after that time people who continue to promote Remain will be treated like those who do “antisocial behaviour”.

BREXIT –  THE ARCHITECT, THE MOTIVATORS AND

                      THE 17.4 MILLION ORDINARY PEOPLE.

 

As an ordinary person, a common man, who is British by birth and English by the grace of God, who attended the school of hard knocks and gained a degree from the university of life, who’s working life has been based on survival and thinks that he has developed a reasonable sense of what is right or wrong, I have trouble understanding how, when we have a referendum, the people involved in getting the LEAVE result, the Architect, the Motivators and the 17.4 million ordinary people who turned out to vote and secure that result, are excluded from any form of involvement or representation in the implementation of the outcome.

 

What is even more puzzling and concerning is how the Remainers, who lost the vote, think that they have the right to change the result, or even have it cancelled, and are prepared to use all kind of tactics to achieve their desired outcome including character assassination. The Architect, Nigel Farage, who through his experience as an MEP, being on the inside and having hands on experience of how the EU operates and having been involved for over 25 years should be advising a LEAVE committee on how to deal with the EU, not having to deal with sometime vile attacks, which affect him and his family, at every move or suggestion that he makes. One of the Motivators, Boris Johnson, who was trusted by the LEAVE voters to ensure that their views were represented and fought for at the top table, during his time as Foreign Secretary was constantly being criticised with senior people, some from his own party, demanding that Mrs. May should sack him. He had to be placed in an unacceptable position where he had no option but to resign, on a matter of principle, and the damage to his reputation even has members of his own party questioning his suitability and motives. Then there are the 17.4 million Ordinary People who the Remainers have claimed are idiotic, moronic, misinformed and too stupid to understand and are incapable of taking a major national decision and that they must therefore be overruled. The people who voted LEAVE, include the silent majority, mostly well informed patriotic citizens, who based their decisions on over 40 years of membership. They voted to LEAVE and expected it to be a clean break with NO EU STRINGS ATTACHED
